Workshop
September 30 - October 2, 2011 This year the Virginia Waterfowlers’ Association , 4H Holiday Lake Educational Center and the Virginia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries will host the Virginia Waterfowl Hunting Workshop in Appomattox, VA. This event will take place September 30 - October 2 at the 4H Holiday Lake Educational Center.The Virginia Waterfowl Hunting Workshop will provide 80 participants of all ages, the opportunity to 22 hands- on classes. The cost is only $130.00. This covers lodging, meals Friday Dinner-Sunday Lunch and all courses.
2011 Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show March 19 - 20, 2011 24th Annual Carving Contest and Show, sponsored by the Rappahannock Decoy Carvers and Collectors Guild Date: March 19, 2010 Location: White Stone, Virginia While the carving competition is one of the smaller IWCA shows, it attracts quality carvings and is part of one of the best waterfowl art exhibitions along the East Coast. Visit Virginia's Northern Neck this year and enjoy the best in waterfowl art in a comfortable down-home setting with great Chesapeake Bay food. The Friday evening gala is awesome! 2011 Waterfowl Predator Management & Trapping Programs
For the second
year, the VDGIF, Virginia Waterfowlers’ Association (VAWFA) and
Virginia Trappers Association (VTA) will partner to provide the
general public educational component workshops. This year, beginning
on April 30th. there will be four more waterfowl predator management
& trapping programs workshops throughout the state. These
educational component workshops, for the public, will be held at
BassProShops stores and a Gander Mountain stores.
